Please stay "verbose" and share any breeding information. I have been putting my frizzle hen with a different rooster with each clutch. This time some of these chicks are frizzle, finally, like the mother. But I still don't know how or why as I do not know the rooster's background.

Curious, how many chicks did you hatch previously from her that weren't frizzles, and do any show even a slight frizzle? From what I've read you should see a roughly 50/50 mix but I believe there are also genetic modifiers that can make the frizzling more or less visible.
