My Japanese pullet started to lay before 5 months. At this time she is 5 months 1 week and brooding her 1st clutch of eggs-4 of them at any rate.

I took the advice here and 2 days ago I put 4 golf balls in the nesting box of a trio.

And there is 6 chicks under the broody and one zipping. Wish I could sell some birds/chicks/eggs but the npip certification is taking longer than I thought! Do you have to npip certified to ship eggs?

This information can be found online for your state. In a search box type, "Does a person need to be npip certified to ship eggs?" Each state is different.
HOW!!!!???? I hope I have success like that on my next batch! Spaz can't wait for a bunch of little sisters and one little brother XDWow. Someone just hatched 7 out of 8 Tribble eggs. How'd that happen?

Oh my goodness, these babies are so sweet and tiny,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,One more hatching today, all six hatched yesterday. Then all seven will be here. Thank you so much for your beautiful chicks. My new favorite serama chicken. Makes me want to get some more eggs, but will wait a bit. Do you sell all the time??? So pleased, words cannot say enough. Can you tell me more about the breed???
