Hi Chail & Cara, Yup, we all had a blast today.....I think I freaked out more than Bill with that hawk, NEVER did I expect that to happen!!! First time I have seen one round here......I was just about hyperventalating.......THEN when all were leaving, in front of the house, Gumbii and I see a turkey vulture flying by....Must be the weather change caused these two birds to do a fly-by???? But BEBEs are safe and sound, boy they were quick in hiding, just amazing. MAMA Jenny is doing well after separation, gave her a bath and blow dry to take her mind off the babes.....but poor Bill will be hearing those 2 vocalize for a while.....poor bebes......

oh yeah, i forgot about the vulture... i have never seen one fly over head like that before... you usually see them in the deserts and such... what was it doing in our neck of the woods...?? hmm... but yeah... i think if that hawk would've connected with a chicken and stood there, it would've got a rugby kick a couple houses over...

im just glad hawk didnt make a meal of my lil kids.

and sue they are vocalizing but not as bad as i thought they would.... and the 2 new lil ones are just bouncing around in their cage....gave everyone some egg yolk banana and wheat germ Holy cow it was a chicken football game in the brooder LOL.
