He looks good ZooMummzy!!!! Seems like yesterday when you asked us which ones to keep and we were voting for him.

Thanks! He's my baby...spoiled rotten and a big time brat...but I love him!

I still need to get some housing made up before my birds start breeding! I have a curlie and I don't want her to breed with my frizzle males. How bad would that be? Would that be like some frizzled babies, a bunch of sad looking curly babies, and some which don't develop? I prefer not to find out. I know curlies are more fragile birds. Mine is heavily feathered for one but I would hate to breed some featherless seramas. XD

I need to get my hubby out of his fish tanks and outside making those cages! His hobby is saltwater. I wish he liked the seramas as much as I do.

Larkspur. we were having the discussion yesterday about curlies and frizzles. I think if you breed your curly to any smooth all the babies will be frizzled. But if you breed to frizzles you still may not get a frizzle. It is all way confusing. someone please pipe in and give us some advice.

Per Juliette
" Curly, meaning she has two copies of the frizzling gene, so when she is mated to a smooth feathered cockerel, ALL of her offspring will be frizzled. She will need extra heat in the winter if you live in a cold climate."

Personally I would NOT breed a Curly to a frizzle.
