the only problem i see is he is going up against more mature cockerels other than that go for it have fun .

Stupid question im sure but why are all the cages I see so close to the ground? I was thinking like a rabit hutch up off the ground so I can reach in easier. Is there a reason they are so low to the ground. They are awesome cages though.

Ok, I am showing my husband and gonna see if he can pull material together for them. Can you tell me if I need a light for them in winter here in WA. state? we get a few nights were we get in the teens but not all the time. Do you cover them if it gets cold?

they all have a light and a fan and i cover them in the winter for sure i have a pop up car port i put them in in the winter .
