Here is one of my young cockerels that I've held back to keep. I can't wait to see how he matures, he still has juvenile feathering. My rooster Blu-T is his dad and he's very nice but I think this boy has even better type than Blu for his age. He's 4 months old and breeding hens already, I won't know for a while yet if he's fertile but I'm getting an egg a day from one hen. I named him Brooster.

This was my favorite photo of Brooster, it didn't look real to me, the colors were so vibrant

Showing off his chest lacing that isn't so prominent now. They change "so" much as they mature!

I have a couple more that are coming along really nicely but aren't quite "there" yet to show off. Give em a couple more months to feather in better. I also have a couple of black pullets that I am please with so far. Not perfect but I've yet to hatch a pullet I felt was SQ. They're still really young though so we'll see how they look in the spring.
