American serama thread!

I am so excited! My very first serama is officially on her way! Here is a question for you serama eggsperts....how loud is the serama rooster's crow in comparison to a normal sized chicken like a silkie or a cochin? I am trying to get a feel for how loud they are which in turn will dictate if I can sneak another crow in without my boyfriend going completely bananas on me.

Seramas aren't necessarily loud, but being smaller birds, they do have a higher pitch. Some of mine are really 'grating' with their squeaky crows!

My silkie wasn't to bad actually, much better than my Seramas, but much louder. My one Serama sounds like a darn turkey.

But they are quieter for sure.

They look perfect to me, they are BEAUTIFUL birds.

I have one that crows every time i go out. But they are def quieter than anything i have ever had
