I am so excited! My very first serama is officially on her way! Yay yay ~does the happy dance~ My only concern is I am pretty positive my guy is going to move out soon since I am sure one serama is not going to be nearly enough. My chicken math has been really atrocious, especially considering I am only allowed to have 4 hens and I currently have 12 hens and 2 roosters. Ooops.

^ That's what I was going to say! lol If you ever sell any pullets or eggs from them, you have a costumer out of me.

Sure, I will let you know when I have some available.

Here is a question for you serama eggsperts....how loud is the serama rooster's crow in comparison to a normal sized chicken like a silkie or a cochin? I am trying to get a feel for how loud they are which in turn will dictate if I can sneak another crow in without my boyfriend going completely bananas on me.

Have you ever heard a silkie crow??? They sound like someone is trying to wring their necks!

Seramas aren't necessarily loud, but being smaller birds, they do have a higher pitch. Some of mine are really 'grating' with their squeaky crows!

My silkie wasn't to bad actually, much better than my Seramas, but much louder. My one Serama sounds like a darn turkey.

But they are quieter for sure.
