Your birds are GORGEOUS, definitely going to have to buy a few someday when I actually have money. lol

I actually offer FREE cockerels ...not my show birds and not my micro's...but wonderful, loving birds that didn't quite make the show grade for one reason or another. My only REQUIREMENT is that they be given some way to be reasonably warm and comfortable in the winter. Single cockerels make fanastic companions because they view YOU as their #1 best friend. They make wonderful 'housebirds'...quieter and cleaner than cockatiels....and not as smelly as rabbits and guinea pigs.

oooooo! Pretty silver duckwing, June! And one of those 'micros' looks like Tiny Teena, lol! Which BTW, is quite comfortable in our RV in her own little soft sided dog crate. She turned out to be a great little traveler.

Yes...Junebug has beautiful silkies!

June I LOVE the birds I've gotten from you... they are so spunky and full of personality! Their offspring all show it too!

Personality = character = 25 points (and priceless as far as love goes)

Someone on one of the threads said they sound like squeaky hinges and that is just about correct. They are not as powerful a sound as a LF chicken.

Just depends on the individual...and I can't tell by looking...just have to do the hearing test...some sound like squeaky hinges, some like a polite lady sneezing...and some can be loud and shrill (but not as loud as a larger rooster).

I think at this point all birds are going to different places except for some that ruthless is highest bidder on. I think my 'number-draw' is the fairest way to do it. If I'd known there would be such an interest in a fat crele male, I would have left his auction up

Hello all! Hope all is well with everyone!
Finally got a day off and took a few pics of some of the neat blue/red colors I have.
Anyone know anything bout these colors or a name to call it?
Not really the best pics, but not really the best birds either.

Since something dragged off all my adult breeders (minus the show birds) I'm hanging on to most of these little ones until Spring and letting them
grow out. Sometimes ugly ducklings just need time! (And sometimes they are just ugly!) lol

OH--and one more question. Anyone ever get pale faced birds?
Im going to worm her again, but anyone know what to do for that?-- or if some birds with black genes are just pale sometimes?
Thanks.
