Here is an updated picture of my 8 Wheaten chicks hatched from eggs from Lisa, they are 10 days old. The whitish one in the very far corner is from my own birds, finally!

ANd this picture is of 3 chicks from ZooMummzy's Romeo, hatched 8.3, they are on the right side.
THe little barred chick hatched yesterday and is again one from my OWN birds ( Benny and Mandy), finally!

Aspen, good luck! I have had Serama since OCtober 2010 and numerous shipped eggs from many different people.

I am just now getting all the pieces to fall in place. I have switched totally to using the GEnesis 1588s for incubating and hatching. Also use the dryer humidity incubation method.

Will try a broody when I get one.


FROGGIE, I will be happy to share when the weather cools off for shipping!​

Oh thank you ruthless, the only problem at my house is that chicken math has gotten WAAAY out of control. I have such a small area to work with to house the little gremlins ~~ but I can dream big anyway......
I hear people talk of 1/2 acre and up and I have 25' X 60' to work with........

You all need to get serious about seramas! I cut off years of breeding by obtaining the best. Guess at my age I cannot afford to wait!

Seriously we all need to quit the oohs and aahs and get down to business. Ok, I have pet quality but they are just that. Squeak Toy is in my avatar. He has white ear lobes, creeper gene( short legs) which means his wings drag the ground. I would never breed him to promote the serama.

Fire away people if you need to but bottom line is in order to promote the breed we need to have the best.
