mine are all wood floor's so they are very easy to clean i just scrape it out with a board i cut that fits perfect in the cages side to side pull it forward and all the shaveings and poo come right out in to my tray on the ground in front of the cage i pick the tray up dump it in the wheel barrow and off to the next cage but i do this daily so i never really have any build up and it only takes like an hour or so to do 30 cages

Help !! Two of my 3 1/2 month olds developed bad legs. Both are showing similar symptoms. I just removed the higher roosting bars on their cages. They were in separate cages and both of them were just sitting/laying on the bottom in a corner. ONe yesterday and one today. a hen and a roo. Could it be a vitamin deficiency? Someone please tell me what to do. I have removed them and put them in small cages with food and water. I did a spraddle leg bandage on the first one to give her some support. She ate and drank. No other symptoms with either one of them. Just brought the roo inside. They are not out in the cold. They are in the garage with heaters going. Rarely gets below 60 in there.

sounds like you are doing the right thing Chicklette whats going on with them are there legs not working at all or can they walk around i need more info please so i can help you out .

They are just sitting on the bottom. It is as if the one leg will not support them when you try to get them to stand. The foot curls a little. The other leg can support them a little bit but basically they just want to sit there. Actually, I just reexamined the roo and both of his feet are curling and week. I may have handled LF and the younger ones. He cannot walk
