can anyone tell me the type of sand with the least amount of dust to keep my seramas on ?

i have tried play sand from lowes but its super dusty.

have you tried rinseing it with water and drying it in the sun. if you can that is . just a thought .

Well, this is what I did to lower the dust [pain in the arse but works] > I sifted all of it, outside of course, with a fan blowing the dust away. I also chucked the larger pieces that didn't go thru the sifter....Hope that helps.

just got are frist eggs from my cocopop and still waiting on eggs from the bird i got from cara witch has turned in to a very nice bird we are pleased with him . cara also has some nice cocopops going on .

I did the same thing as Sue did and it helps. Regardless of what kind of bedding you use, there is no way for you to avoid the dust.

Birds just tend to make alot of dust . no matter what you use like jp said . good luck !
