Spoiled? I think we should have a contest to see whos seramas are spoiled the most, house pet, I have 4 of them staring at me right now, and at any given moment they will hop on and off my shoulders or drape themselves on the PC desk area.

HAPPY NEW YEAR SERAMA FOLKS! Best wishes for everyone, feathered or not, for 2012.

I'll start the New Year here with some pics I took today of my birds... well I guess it was yesterday that I took them.. gee before I know it 2013 will be here.
This is my pair of white seramas. I hate taking pictures of chickens. My camera and I are too slow and before I get the picture they move or assume some goofy position. What does everyone think of these two? Do you think they will be okay to start a white project? I really have no idea what they will throw for offspring. I guess time will tell about that. The hen is not laying yet. BTW, none of my birds are trained to stand up and pose. I should have started with one pair instead of 4 pairs of WILD birds!

I have no idea what color this guy would be called... maybe a mille fleur type would be my "guess." The hen in with this guy is mostly black, but she is hiding BEHIND the nest box and I didn't want to disturb her for the photo shoot. I guess hiding behind the nest was more appealing than than nesting IN the nest! BTW, this is pretty much his normal stance. I have no idea how he got his feathers to look so ratty. Hope they grow back in without getting messed up again. Personally, I like his type. I hope I can get some typey babies.

Here are a pair that I have that are close to a wheaten color. I guess that is what you would call them. Once again, I have NO idea what colors they will produce. These guys sure did NOT want to stand up to have their picture taken. I'm thinking about bringing them in the house, one at a time to see if I could get them tamed down. I have a total of 4 pairs, but I didn't get pictues of some of them. They are so stinking wild yet. Any chicks I hatch will get more attention from the git-go!

Ivy, on the whites unless you know they came from a generation or two of whites..........they will probably give you many different colors just like all the rest of the Serama.

Since I believe you got these from a huge mixed flock( I may be remembering wrong), you will just have to try them and see what they can produce.
