If it's just the early crowing that will bother them I think that would work fine. They do have a habit of starting up about 3 a.m., so make sure it will be somewhere you can still get sleep, lol. They also crow throughout the day. Mine have a very soft, quiet crow and aren't too bad, if you can get by with any rooster I think a serama is your best bet.Ok I have a curosity question for some who may have my dilema also. I want to keep a rooster but I have neighbors who live close to my chicken house. I wanted to know how much does it help to keep the rooster insidee at night so he doesnt crow until later in the morning? I worry that him crowing early will bother the neighbors. Thanks for any ideas or experience with this problem.
