American serama thread!

I got reminded this afternoon about LFs with seramas...I have a AGF hen that is at my house for fattening up [she is painfully shy around her own kind] and Fritiz my serama cockeral decided she was DELICIOUS looking and proceeded to chase her and grab her neck.. She is running..SCREAMING....what a hoot! She is like 4x's his size..... :p

PEANUT SEZ: MERRY CHRISTMAS!

little Peanut is such a good sport about being posed..I just could not help myself when I saw the box.... freshest chicken in town at my house....

Hey everyone I was directed to the American serama thread, hoping to find someone willing to sell pairs or trios this spring or summer! I have patience and am willing to wait to find some nice birds! I prefer the look of mottled, bb reds, and spangle roosters! I need broody hens, my current hens have not produced.

So, does this happen to you? You have chickens and you love them so everyone thinks all you want for Christmas is chicken stuff!? I got chicken calendars, chicken salt and pepper shakers, chicken ornaments and a lifesize chicken made out of the stuff brooms are made out of! Really? I have a log home in the mountains and it is tastefully done in bears/southwest, NOT chicken stuff! Ugh! Anyway, we put our little "Twizler" to roost on our lifesize chicken and he loved it.

BTW, we use our home as a vacation rental if anyone wants to visit the North Georgia Mountains! www.vrbo.com/438003
