no way that is silly ! I cry over eggs not hatching. special eggs any way. my incubator is on day 20. I got up this morning and my new incubator had spiked to 105. my daughter said she hear chirping at 5 am and i got up at 7 so i dont know if they will hatch or not.

well these were month old chicks :/ jesse is gonna send me some eggs though so i guess its not all bad?
Any tips on hatching shipped eggs?

not from me hun. he sent me some as well. he is a sweetheart. the one serama egg that i have is in where the bator spiked last night.

It's HUGE and that's a good price. Would that work for Seramas? Problem is, I would need a bunch of them and that would run into some big bucks. (I would use them for more than just Seramas. Those would be good grow out pens for the big chickens, too).

Ok, I got one of these. Not suitable for Seramas, it's too big and the spacing between the bars is too wide for those tiny little chickens, but it is really big and heavy and sturdy. I'm going to get more as my budget allows. They will make GREAT grow out pens for my young Marans.

For the Seramas I'm going to get lumber and build some big cages.

nikki1496 between today and yesterday I have 4 eggs so far for ya. at that rate by Tuesday I should have a dozen for ya.
