ooh so they are gonna be pretty and i will get some better pics of him tomorrow. my dad is all worried now that none of the eggs will hatch because of the weird aircells. and the phoenixs are a good breed for color in your flock, as chicks they are flighty though but calm down after about 2 years. the roosters are gorgeous but can get a bit loud and if you get one like mine they will get a bit aggressive but mine are bantam so he doesnt do much

Hi again everyone, 5 of my original 9 seramas turned out to be roos so I'm selling three. They're all frizzled/silkied, mostly white and blue mottled with some red. Currently about 2 months old and 5-6 ounces, these are my three smallest cockerels. Too cold to ship so pickup only near Bloomington Indiana. Asking $5/ea or $10 for all three. Probably pet quality but they're absolutely adorable and fluffy. PM me if interested

I'm Hoping! Granny Hatchet your incubator is done and holds temp. I even went one step furter and put an indicator light to let you know when the heating element is on. The only thing I have to do is put a window in and fit an egg turner in it. Hope to have it fully completed tomorrow and ship on monday!

Guess it's time for me to join also as I believe I just bought the other half of Jess' order from ladycat lol. The silkie and frizzled I've been trying for over a year to get some but they've all hatched straight feathered. Fingers crossed that her eggs change that. I have 5 grown seramas and 17 in brooders at different ages. The 7 oldest are 6 wks old now but I'm still too scared to put them outside as my coops aren't heated. They're not on heat anymore but they still squish together when they sleep like they're freezing at 75 degrees in the house. The other are 1 wk to 3 wks old. From the ones I hatched last year I kept 1 brown, 1 black, 1 beige, 1 beige and white mottled (roo) and 1 black and white mottled. I had another roo that was beautiful partridge type color but he escaped when I was feeding and was killed.

Other then the seramas I have a quad of barnevelders (blue and black), 2 welsummer hens, 2 wheaten marans hens, a juvenile pair of lavender english orpingtons, 4 easter egger hens with 2 ameraucana roos, golden laced and tolbunt polish, silver penciled wyandotte bantams, cochin bantams, duccles and a flock of about 25 call ducks

Currently have 2 full incubators and getting ready to fill a 3rd with maran eggs that I received from ladycat on Friday. There will be just enough room to fit the serama eggs that she sent out to me today and we'll be stuffed. I so wish I had a nice cabinet style incubator that could fit all the eggs instead of having 3 separate. I just can't see paying $600+.

@Jess... love your jersey giants. I'm planning to move to SC later this year and will look you up if you're still around and have some eggs for sale .

Thanks. I love them. The tolbunts are great. My other roosters chase the tolbunt roosters away though when I let them free range together during the winter. Not sure what it is about them but even the bantam roosters chase them lol.

The Barnevelders are my favorite in appearance. I think because the roo is so big and handsome. Love the little duccles too. The kids love the seramas because of how easy they are to handle. They are pretty precious. I just hate that they can't free range like the others. I have plans drawn up for a big coop and enclosed run for them once I move. Going to be fun moving all the chickens when the time comes though. That's the only thing I'm not looking forward to lol

Darn. I would say send them this way if I wasn't already full lol. I love the silkies especially but the frizzles are super cute too. The straight feathered do feel like velvet though on a couple of mine. They're just so soft compared to the others. I love them too. Heck I just love them all! Lol.
