Not firming up shells but to quit making them eat the eggs. Because they will peck that and then they will realize they aren't getting anything and give up.

Yes they are adorable. Thanks. A few of them are hatchlings from my own eggs or someone else but the marans and OEs are from eggs that came from ladycat
