no not yet, I really want some drizzled out of her and pistashio. What would you call her color? I'm calling it lite calico...

The color is Spangled. Although many people have different names for it. Some people call it koi streaming, spangled, calico, and millie.

Me too! They are so different; I find them quite interesting. But yes, I've a lot to learn also.

I know what you mean, though. I was only able to hatch one so far from shipped eggs, but she's the prettiest colors to me so it was a great hatch!

She is darling! I think I know who her parents are. I will try to remember to take some pictures. If anyone from your area comes to the show in Ramona, I can send a young roo back up with them for you....

Well last night i weighed my birds and my rooster is 29 oz.


I am a little disappointed because he has pretty good type... I am thinking that i might do a test hatch with him and see if I need to cull him

The bigger guys are better breeders and can throw different size offspring, so don't be too disappointed yet.....

This is the first of my second generation serama; a pullet who weighs 2 ounces at 5 weeks of age. She looks pretty good to me-better than her mom looked at that age. Comments?
