American serama thread!

Eggs on lockdown someone give me encouragement please
Fingers and toes crossed. Good luck. My frizzle serama hen (the one in my avatar) started to brood today, so I'm warring with myself as to let her hatch or not. The ark is getting pretty full.

Again, good luck. I hope all goes well and every egg hatches or you.

The rooster was culled due to a number of things. Even at 1 month it was pretty obvious he was not going to be a bird that could be used for breeding; too large, bad posture, poor shape. Culling does not have to mean that the animal/rooster in this case was destroyed. Being a teacher makes it so I know many people; people that are into pets. When I can, the birds being culled are given away as pets-not as seramas, but as small bantams.
I didn't think it was positively destroyed, I was just sympathetic that you lost a possible keeper.

I like the color.

Shes so funny! Are you going to hatch more seramas?
I have some cooking now. There's 4 right now that are moving great & lock down is this Sunday so I hope it goes better than my Halloween Hatch Along that was a bust. I am still new at this & I've only cooked shipped eggs but I do learn with every set.

I'm glad! Post pics when they hatch!
