Got a new boy and a new hen. Hen is broody so don't want to stress her but here is my new roo. He stands nicer than this normally but he was a little unsure about the camera

I'll take better photos asap but here is Smudge not a great picture because he carries his tail at 90° not sure about legs wing length or back. He gives me fits trying to get a good photo .

I'll have to bring him in because neither photo shows his posture well .
What about leg, wing and back ?

Wings are a good length. If he does hold his tail correctly his back is fine. Leg length isn't too short or long. Looks good. Are his legs yellow or white?

They shoukd be yellow.. If you breed him to a hen with yellow legs all the chicks should have yellow legs (I think?)

Are you breeding for type, color, or both?
