American serama thread!

Honey Thorn was 5 weeks when his comb changed big surprise for me.
Think these are pullets very tiny ridges on the comb.

Has anyone else noticed that cockerels combs seem to be more visible front to back? Girls seem like only the front of the comb is visible early. The back, right in top of the head, seems to be more hidden in the fluff. I’m watching a few babies right now to see if this observation is consistent.

Heartbroken came home to find the week old Serama baby had past... Leaving only the one..quietly setting in the brooder corner. Temps were fine . I brought in 2 chicks from my broody hen and the remaining chick perked up right away.
