thats what i've been getting lately is alot of girls. during the spring almost all roos. love that black and white molted. def would like to see a better pic of that third one.

For the night crawlers I just used a big plastic storage container, punched holes in the lid and put some good ole garden soil in it, added some water to make it a little more moist and sprinkled this magic worm food on the top, got the night crawlers at the gas stations bait shop. Put them in there and in about a week added an apple, every so often id put a little water in the bin and sprinkle again with the magic worm food. They do well in a cool dry place like my crawl space.

So the oatmeal is the bedding for the meal worms? No water? I'll have to do some research lol those things are spendy to get at the pet stores! Ya get a little container (which one of my birds could consume in the blink of an eye) for like $6

Hope it helps. they are very helpful. i started with a 1000 and got so many beetles is crazy. next step is baby mealies. yeah this walmart here isnt so great. think im gonna try worms next. lol i guess im the ccg crazy chicken guy.

And here I am with my ONE baby serama and I think that is enuf......must be something wrong with me, huh? Actually, I do have 2 HEN-A-BATORS going.....2 serama eggs under Annie my gamey mutt and 4 serama eggs [these are Bill Pongos'] under Jenny.
