yeah i think it is recognized... i have some great lavenders too.. yeah, i'll trade eggs or chicks... right now i have a couple of young pairs that are going to be released up for grabs... let me know when you want to... well, right now i'm collecting eggs to incubate this weekend... also gonna incubate again on the 24th after the norco meet...

just sayin'...

I just have 3 chicks available right now, or we can trade eggs on the 24th? It would be nice to get a pair, but I love hatching too so doesn't matter to me!

Gumbii - these are not silver sebrights, they are oegbs, different combs, roos are not hen feathered etc... just happen to be the same color. They are not very common and not recognized aba standard color for oegb, but they do breed true and are in the works.

OMG.... Barrel racing ...

My second time EVER on a horse, and my boss thinks it will be funny to put me on an ex-rodeo barrel racer, slap its hindquarters, and tell me to hold on. Needless to say, the sheW$#$^besus was scared out of me, and the horse even seemed to be laughing.

Yeah, I think horses are pretty and all, but dumb people sort of ruined them for me.

Froggie, you are demonic. Those horses are insane.

I have heard a few people using the brinsea octagon 20 with good results. I have a genesis 1588 and two standard old bators. Both have turners and fans and hydrometers. I have good luck with both. I keep my humidity around 45 to 50 percent and temp around the 99.5. and found that it works best for me. Believe me i have alot of trial and error. But it is what works best for me.

I had purchased a new one and returned it because it is more suitable for larger hatches than I wanted. Plus, the Serama eggs are so small and that is mainly what I want to hatch. I called them and they said the turner part does not work as well when it is not fully loaded or mostly full. It has quite a few parts to put together. It is also rather large. I wound up with the Brinsea Mini Advance Ex and it is perfect for my needs. Hope this helps.

Thanks, yes, that was very helpful.

Ok, sooooooo, I am considering the Brinsea Octagon 20, and then Hovabator. Any input on either of these? I know the hovabator is very popular. I want something I don't have to mess with a whole lot. I've neve hatched anything and scared to death I'll mess up.
