American serama thread!

true my daughter is an angel compared to how my son was growing up. Well he will keep me active, I'm 37 , 38 in Jan when he is due, so I guess I won't get to be old and lazy!
Not sure if I will get to show my seramas this next time around because I will be pretty huge by then

The chicken chores are already wearing me down and my seramas need more training too.

I have a blk and wht. Gypsy Vanner and she is wonderful. Really sweet but can be a little stubborn when ridden. I can tell you that at first she was always looking beautiful but it did not take long for the dirt to take over. I would bathe her and she would immediately roll. Stick to chickens.........they are far less work!!! Come play with my mare!

POngo, I am not looking back for your post looking for a single female with land BUT if I was a bit younger I would make you an offer.
I have 10 acres in SW Mo and it is nice for horses and a few small cattle and all the SErama we could make pens/coops for.
Used to be pretty handy too............still am when I have time away from paying work. Of course, you have to fight off about every predator except bears and rattlers ( may be around but have not found them yet.)
Also must love dogs!

Hi everyone! Hope most are having a good day off from work.

Have a new little one that I managed to hatch from some Muddyhorse eggs. Despite the PO making a mess of most of them this little guy/gal made it!! She says seeing that it's a frizzle daddy is her boy "blu" that she got from Juliette. Can't wait to see how this one turns out, standing very well already for such a young age.
