Awwww making the cut day is always hard. But yep your right, its all part of breeding. I always had the hardest time parting with the roos, for some strange reason they were the ones who wiggled into my heart the most.....

ya i got 5 that i held back to see them fill out but man the birds just keep coming ! and i still have four from my frist hatch of this year that are roos and now there all testing each other to see who's top bird . man can;t they all just get along and people keep offering me outstanding birds that i can't say no to . so i guess out with some of the old and in with some new blood . need any more seramas froggie ! i'll set you up with some nice ones i just need to thin out the flock i guess i've been hordering ! no i just love them all and can't let go some times ! my bad !

Same here. I know a lot of people signed the online petition. You mean you only got a total of 300 on that? I must have sent out 100 emails minimum to people for their signature.

Brody's Broodello :

Ok Had to tell someone who would care, hubby doesn't understand the Serama world at all. But just went out to the chick bins( aka 200 gallon rubbermaid stock tanks), and went over the birds in it. Two white Serama male & female, some pretty whatever color they are?, wheatens, and yes one REAL chocolate pullet!!!!

Doing the happy chick dance here! These are 3 gens of our breeding, mom was a black that we bred & dad was the bird my son won at the Ohio National Serama Raffle table last fall.

Which one did you win? Jessi donated a frizzle, I think, and I donated a pair of chicks with a Silkie hen. The cockerel chick got loose in the parking lot and almost didn't make it to the raffle!
