I am afraid to breed because then I will have to make a decsion somewhere down the road keep or go. And I can't even do that with the ones I should let go. But personally I prefer to take in the lame and handicapped. They are more special to me than the most expensive SQ bird out there....

on a different note....I HATE STUDYING and am so ready to be done with school
 
I have standard chickens, but we got two seramas two weeks ago and the hen has laid two eggs, about one per week. Is this normal? The seller said they were born this spring, so she should be laying and not past her prime if the age is correct.

Do not know about laying ......mine are 7 months and laying like crazy......
She might be stressed if moved recently..................

Depends on the hen. My Serama lay every other day or every 3 days or once every 2 weeks. A move or other serious change will often throw any chicken off laying regularly or at all. Also the laying will slow down if they start their molt and probably stop for several days. Lots of factors.
