How exciting!!!! Are they all from the same trio you got from Jerry? You make me want to go check under my broody to see if I have any pipping or zipping....I hope my day count is wrong.

Yeah!!! Great job chickies!!!
I have two out, one pip, and one that got tired out in the egg half way through zipping and died. I wasn't home so I wasn't able to help ... so bummed! It was totally perfect too. Happy about the others though!!!

Thank you and sorry about your one little guy. It's more heartbreaking when they come that far.

Yes, they are from the same trio and I think I may have another white one also but of course it is too early to tell. Looks to me like I have a lot of cockerels. I still have 4 in the bator and the others hatched a day earlier but maybe I count incorrectly. My kitchen table is an island of chirping!!!
Good luck with your hatch.......let us all know

Susan,
I had this situation this year........
Want to add, I am fairly new with Serama so if there is reason not to try this,
I hope more experienced breeders will jump n.
Anyway, I had one little Serama hatch, and three big Imported English orps..........
I put the serama in the brooder in a plastic container to keep it seperate
but still allow it to see others..................
The next morning when I checked, the little devil had jumped the barrier
and tucked itself under one of the big chicks. I watched constantly during the day
and decided to leave it............She did fine...and was so funny because she would either
tuck herself under the big chicks or jump, walk over the top of them............
Other than having a Serama pullet that thinks it is a 12 lb. Orp.all went well.............

So maybe a LF chick would be OK.
Good Luck
