American serama thread!

Ray... I swear... Joey's birds don't molt until they leave his property. The one I got from him a month ago, has dropped most of his tail once he got to my house. His brother, still at Joey's house, is in perfect show condition..... I guess I am missing the magic touch! Oh well... I am only expecting to have FUN at the upcoming show. The ribbons are for the fortunate! The FUN is for the rest of us!!! My day will come.....

I think all by babies that I wanted to show won't make weight. I'll weigh them again in a few weeks, but I have my doubts. Honestly, it doesn't really matter. I enjoy being there, seeing all the pretty birds, hanging out with friends. May the best bird win... and may everybody have a grand time!!

I mean really.... without the fun and the friends...... its not much.

it will be fun reguardless.....i do plan on showing lil emma..... just have to get her arse to fatten up lol.... but she is so tiny and cute LOL....as for boys im not holding my breath this time around.....mine look like CRAP.

Even if they are overweight you can still take them to show. They'll get DQ'd if they make it to Tier II, but at least you'll know whether their type is as you think it is

Good thought . but when you have other bird with just as good type and they are lighter in weight then i think i'll just take them that way i don't get DQs but i might let my son take one thats heavy just to see how the bird does . thanks for the input .
