Wishing you luck, the PO is becoming a big PAIN any more when it comes to shipping and receiving birds.

I cant believe someone has not started a pet-animal shipping business yet?

And what sucks is every time we complaine or file a complante they are just going to make it harder for us all to ship birds . so one of there own make the mistake and we are all going to pay for it soon they will shut the shipping down if we file complantes even if it is the fault of the USPS because they don't really want to ship are birds for us .

I know and have heard that they are not going to ship live birds as of next year but someone will have to. I am ok paying a bit more to have them safe and sound on receiving or shipping them. Its worth it. I read on the scna site Jerry had 4 delivered dead a few weeks ago. Seems they sat in the hot sun somewhere.

Anyone know of a trick to get a white serama back white again? Really need to clean this boy up for the CrossRoads.

I could be wrong about this, but I think different states have different laws regarding shipping live birds. Some might require you to be NPIP, possibly??? Maybe someone experienced in this could jump in here.

Thanks, somebody did mention it to me already and I will look into it for KY

It sounds like it's all states for live birds, but not eggs. You have to check for what state you're shipping INTO, though, too.

I think it depends on if it's dirty or sun bleached. If it's dirty, you might try looking at products that are made for white dogs or horses.

I've had really good luck getting gray (white) horses clean with enzymatic cleaners like this one:

I usually spray it on any poop stained spots, leave it on for awhile, then rinse it off. I've gotten horses looking really clean in the winter just by spraying it on spots and then toweling it off. I'm not sure how it would work on feathers, but it seems like it should.
