I have five teenage roos in one cage and three in the other. I put my hands in every day with all of them. Some of them will come over and give my hand a little bite and try to breed but when I do not move my hand or respond to them, they are very disinterested. Mine do not attack or bite hard but it is apparent sometimes what they are doing. My little house chicken has a stuffed animal in his cage and has never tried to breed my hand but I have definitely seen him grab the neck of the stuffed animal and breed it. Quite humorous. Hope everything stays this easy with the boys!! I have handled them a lot so maybe they do know I'm not a hen.
