What exactly are their symptoms? Just sitting on the bottom? That sounds perhaps more like they don't feel well. Have they ever had any contact with adult chickens? Even perhaps from you handling adults and then them?
They are just sitting on the bottom. It is as if the one leg will not support them when you try to get them to stand. The foot curls a little. The other leg can support them a little bit but basically they just want to sit there. Actually, I just reexamined the roo and both of his feet are curling and week. I may have handled LF and the younger ones. He cannot walk
You may want to do some reading up on Marek's. Your birds are a little young to actually exhibit symptoms of this, but it's not unheard of. Do you know if they were vaccinated for Marek's disease when they were chicks? I was recently told by the director of the poultry program at KSU that virtually every flock WORLDWIDE has exposure to this. I don't know if it's wild birds that help spread it, but if either one of your birds die (hopefully not!) you may want to consider sending it to a lab for diagnosis.
