Chiclette....I am saying my prayers for you this evening that your two little ones pull out of whatever it is they have. You have gotten some great help......hope to see GLAD TIDINGS in the AM..........
Thank you all for your wishes and prayers for my 2 little ones. Thank goodness they are eating and drinking. I loaded up on the vitamin B in their food and water and they are getting it down. So nice to have all these kind people trying to help and pulling for their recovery. I'l keep everyone posted.
Froggie, that picture was too funny! Brought a big old laugh from me. We wish all of you and your chicks a wonderful Christmas Holiday. Have fun!!
im butting in.... I havent been here in a while but just was checking things out. So sorry about the birds. I had several 3 month old seramas that all of a sudden could not stand at all and the 1 foot would curle up and I would pick them up and they could sometimes stand and then fall over. I thought mereks but after some died I brought them in for necropsys. It was a vitiman E def. It made them drunk like and could not stand and all the others would walk on them until they died. I gave vitimans and it just didnt get in the system as fast as I wanted. I am NOT recomending this but this is what I did and I have saved every one. I took vitiman E caplets and warmed them up. Just 2 little ones per bird. I sucked the oil up in a suringe and injected it in the back of the neck every day until they were able to stand. Some it worked in 24 hours and some they walked in 2 days. After that I made sure to add E to the feed. This may not be the issue but I hope you find the answer.
