And there were AI outbreaks in the eastern shore a few years back according to the lady at VDACS that I spoke with so I do understand the concern. North Carolina also has a big broiler industry and tough import standards; at least I'm not alone in my misery.

We have quite a few show quality chickens but it seems that all of the types/breeds I like aren't easily available. I DO have some serama eggs in the bator. I'm not going to suffer withdrawal or anything

i have one just get done hatching out and fixing to fill it. Then have one suppose to hatch on the the 3rd.

Its taken me awhile to find really good ones. alot hang on too them. def wishing you the best on your hatch.
