Snow? ewwww have no snow yet it's actually in the 40's during the day here right now but cold at night....but hey it's Iowa..the blizzard will come with a vengence.....probably a few times before winter is over....grrrrr

I don't mind the snow but I sure feel sorry for my chickies. They want to go eat grass and roll around in the dirty badly! I release them in the greenhouse everyday so they can pick at some wheat grass and micro greens but it isn't the same as finding a warm patch of sun and mowing the oregano and dandelions.
Poor little Twiggy flies around squawking like she's saying "FREEDOM!" LOL but she perches on the elderberries and stares out of the windows longingly. Poor babies!

Meatball is 2 months old today. Weighed in at 1.9 ounces.
He makes 6.5 ounce Snowflake look like a giant!

Why doesn't anyone with Silkieds, save a few, sell their eggs?? I think I only know three people that sell Silkied eggs, it makes me sad.

Thank god for Theron, or I'd be SOL.
