Anna, thank you for the information! I have a couple of up and coming whites but their type isn't good enough for me to want to show. I am going to be actively seeking some smooth whites this year - I want to make some white silks. I'm just getting black, black and whites, and blues right now. I'm not sure if I will show any of my birds because I am terrified of them coming down with fowl pox or something else from other peoples birds. I LOVE to go to shows and wander around, but other than that I am still not sure about actually bringing my birds to a show. They're my babies, y'know!
I haven't actually looked into the shows around here yet to see what there is, but mark my words I will be back on the west side to attend shows!! Good excuse to catch up with my friends and visit my mom and sister.
