American serama thread!

Hi everyone!  I have 3 little Serama's and I wanted to know what you guys thought of them.  I do not show or breed but they are sweet and wanted an honest opinion ;)  these three all hatched in early November so they are 4 months old

I am NO expert, but the first roo has such a unique coloring to him I like. Everyone has yellow legs and your frizzles are too cute! The hen has such an adorable face on her. :D

Ok Folks....the time has come, a first ever in the state of Georgia
and you won't want to miss this party!

The Peach State Classic...a stand alone show for the American Serama
May 26, 2012 in Jefferson, GA

The show is only 10 weeks away. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in May!

Zoo32. LOVE the color of that first roo. Looks like a dilute of some kind (porcelain, dun/khaki or wheaten lavender) Love his stance too though he could use a bit more chest. He's young yet. Frizzles hard to judge in picks but they look nice too.

Thanks everyone!! I think they are special.. I have had someone offer to buy my roosters but I honestly don' t know what I should be getting for them or their worth to someone. I don't want to over charge because I think they are pretty but need an honest opinion assessment of value.

I'm in Northern Illinois and have three Serama pairs. One roo has and adult hen and young hen. The other two pairs are ones that I hatched. One is a frizzled mottled roo with nice frizzled yellow hen. The other pair are frizzled goldend with green tail roo and nice very small hen. I wouldn't mint swapping chicks or eggs in order not to in breed. As soon as the weather warms up, I'm putting them in beautiful little aviary together with six silkies. I don't show because I don't think that there are Serama shows up in the Northern states. They are expensive to keep in the winter as I have to either keep the garage well heated or keep them inside.

If you are in northern Illinois, please contact me. I have hatched some very tiny AA chicks from the A, B and C chickens as I have been told they don't breed true.

I'm in McHenry but can meet you in any suburg northwest of Chicago easily.

I just want to show off my Birdie Palace, it was SO worth all the blood sweat and tears that went into making it. There is a coop at each end and ramps to get into them so the whole set-up is self contained.
You can also see my destroyed lawn....little monsters

The East wing....

The West wing.....
