Been there with the dial up. Got a few more got this one going through a stage where its feathers are coming in "ugly" but is showing some great promise

I had three on one nest. Thought was unusual but they said they would be fine. LOL

LMAO...Froggie you should try having very slow dial-up...it takes 5 to 10 mins ...and forever to put pics on.

I wasn't going to hatch any more this year...trying to cut back. Even loaned my bator out so I wouldn't be tempted. Then I had a pullet go broody...then her sister!! They were both sitting on infertile eggs so I gave in and stuck three that I hope are fertile under them.

I use google chrome. Someone had me turn off the flash and images but cant remember how but mine loads pretty fast.

Yep... i get annoyed at the slowness, wonder if you set your browser to not load flash and images, then once it loads right click the ones you want to see, if that would speed it up?

Went and looked at mine the cocoapop is from the dad. The mottle is from the mom. Mottle and barred are very strong genes

Do you have any idea what the color pattern is called? Those are the only two I've had with that pattern.
They were darker but keep getting more white, so I think they'll end up being the color of their mother. I wish they would have stayed that dark color with the pattern.

It has snowed here twice in the last 2 weeks. It is march. I should be sitting on a beach with a margarita not bundled up so I dont freeze to death! My chickens took one look at the snow and said no thanks and ran back into the coop!

yeah- facebook is ok, have made friends there and some art sales,but it isn't byc... so i hop back and forth and another site called thepoultrybid.com, they are just starting and have a nice setup for auctions and a forum...


meanwhile..the twins are growing...any ideas on gender? i have my suspicisions both cockerels? and what color would they be called?
