American serama thread!

Hi I am new to chickens. I researched breeds before deciding on keeping a few indoor serama chickens. There isn't much selection in California at this time I only found 2 breeders and only one of the two shows the chickens. I just purchased these little couple from a gentleman last night, can I get some honest evaluation opinions on whether I should breed these two or if they are only pet quality? Thank you!!!
OHMYGOODNESS, there are TONS of breeders in LA county. I am the American Serama Association state rep and I could have hooked you up with a number of breeders... . My OPINION on your birds are pet quality, BUT I am not the best person to ask. There are always SO many pet quality seramas that you can get for next to nothing, its not worth breeding when you can get one that is a show quality "throw away". ALL my birds are freebies and are all pet quality BUT in my eyes they are all gorgeous.....:love P.S. I see a western saddle stirrup in one of the pics, do you have a horse????? I do!

Hi everyone. A total noob in the Serama world, but after hatching my first 3 chickens lastweek I am absolutely in love with this breed. I have been reading alot online and also a few books and hope that a few of my chickens will show up to be breeding stock. I am doing my best to get thee chickens pet tame, and so far they love me and everyone else too  Hope it lasts! Next batch will hatch on tuesday probably, 10 eggs were viable at day 10. Thankfully I still have one mlre week of work so I can follow the hatching and first days closely. I love to read in this thread, lots of great pics and quite a few stunning chickens :)
Updates of the COCOA-Patton Pullet I send to my friend Jonnie up in Washington stated ...

He is my favorite!! I have clutch of his chicks (they are eight days old) and I hope that they turn out as nice (or nicer would be better.... can you put in 'orders' like that?? LOL!)

Sheila :)
