Still new to different breeds. This girl is about 5 weeks old and was labeled as an Americana but looks exactly like a legbar. Would that mean one of her parents could have been a legbar or could she be one?

I got her at a local feed store during their once a year “peep show” where there was about 30 breeds available at that time. So it’s possible she ended up in a wrong bin. Either way I love her but am hoping for blue eggs lolWhere did you get her? Labels in the feed stores can get messed up and chicks can be accidentally placed in the wrong bins. The usual Americana (aka Easter Egger or EE) sent out to feed stores typically has muffs/beard, a pea comb, and can be a variety of colors. I think you do indeed have yourself a legbar, head tufts are not going to show up in the average hatchery EE nor would a single comb. That being said, legbars can and have been used to create olive/Easter eggers, I have one myself who looks nearly identical to a legbar but she has lightly feathered feet and lays a green egg.
Ameraucanas are not Easter Eggers, but Americanas usually are. Everything else Demeter said is generally true. She does look like a Cream Legbar, so you could still have blue/green eggs! The usual Americana (aka Easter Egger or EE) sent out to feed stores typically has muffs/beard, a pea comb, and can be a variety of colors.
