Americana experts! Is this a pullet or a cockerel?

Do you think this 6 week old Americana is a pullet? I'm being told so but have been burned before. I've edited my post with a picture of her/his head as requested by a couple of you. I'm not the owner, the head shot is what the owner sent me this morning. I'm considering taking her in because I'm worried about when people try to sell one chicken but I have the space and means to integrate her safely and slowly. So... Pullet or rooster? What do you all think? The owner said the flock's "mother bird" will not allow her close no matter how many times they've tried so now she's living with the chicks but "it's time for her to find a new home". He's got someone coming in a week to look at her but said she needs to be gone before then, and I then also worry what "gone" means. I already have one Americana and we just adopted a beautiful adult Maran and funny Faverolle, both 1+ years old, all very docile. But I would still keep this little one separate for some time. If possible, I'd love ASAP replies. xoxo

I can’t tell either. The blotchy feather pattern tells me it’s likely a cockerel but the comb is not that big or red. It also looks like the comb pic was taken when the bird was younger. You may have to see the bird in person to tell.
It may be the owner wants to get rid of ‘her’ before ‘she’ turns into an obvious ‘he’.

Thanks sealer39, my thoughts exactly. We decided to pass. The owner is just a little too anxious. They have plenty of room and the "pullet" is right now living with the little chicks. Someone else wanted "her" but couldn't come for a week and he said no. Why else would he care?
