Awwww. I'm sorry. That was'ny my intention. I was just making an observation. I wish for you to make your decision on the merit of him becoming a sleddog.
Hey Blue, how's the race going.
Thought I'd better touch base before I paddle my dugout back to my Island.lol
It went well. Now we are wandering in Alaska going on an adventure!

Yeah it's muddy here. It freezes at night but in the day it's sunny. Really cheap, probably just a small refining fee. 2 hours south from me (Victor, MT). Sprite is 11 and Deluxe is 9. Deluxe has some feet issues so I'd have to spend a little more on booties but Sprite is older which means I'd probably have to supplement her diet and she'd have to be retired soon. Oh, the lady also has a 4 month old female pup (don't have any pictures yet) that I could train but I'm guessing mom will say only 2 dogs. So, Deluxe & pup, Deluxe & Sprite, or Sprite & pup? Which 2 should I get if I can?

phew! I didn't think they were that old. They look to be in really nice shape especially now that I know they're practically ?geriatric?. If it were y choice going by wht you want and what you've said I think I would chose Deluxe and pup.
That said I like the way Sprite looks and if she were 8 I would take her and put 1 of my dogs into her. Probably Regal or Rex.
What do you all use for houses? I've seen regular wood houses and plastic barrel houses but I've read that barrels are cold in winter and hot in the summer and that typical wood houses are too hot in the summer. What should I make/buy?
I make all my houses out of plywood. Even though it is more hygenic I really do not like plastic so much .
I put at the southern most point of their circle so they get a max amount of shade. She doors face north. Some of them are made with floorless poches large enough for the dog to sprawl in.
Some of them I construct them so I can add the "porch in summer and take them off in winter. many of y houses are built with drift barriers so snow wont blow in the doors. Sometimes it just reduces that though so I'm always devizing something different.
1 year I bought them cheap plastic tarps and made shades about 12 feet wide and 8 feet high and put them at a 45 degrees from the ground. I put them across the south apex of their circles. White would've been better but even better would've been if they did'nt think it was a toy to ragged-up.LOL. well...not really LOL Bkuz it was kind of expensive and labour intensive since I had to go to the forest 30 miles away and find long straight trees, peel, cut to length and then pound some into the groung and make frames for the tarps.
Some of the dogs had a nice big shade for the summer. I have'nt done that since though.
Maybe I'll post some pix of some of my houses. dono exactly when though.. kinds busy.
