I'd like him too!
I need to get my set up, set up.
I know what I want for my b-day. I want a lead dog!

That first one definitely ain't a Labrador Retriever
Lab crossed to something skinny maybe, like a hound or something.
Fast looking and friendly looking and loyal looking tho..

He ran the Iditarod and had something wrong that made him limp so he got retired. When I got him, I could still run him and he was never bothered by his leg.

Ya, I have Ashliegh. She hurt her leg and was retired from racing. She's still an awesome puller tho. I use her to dbl lead with Burner. She's good for about 10-15 miles then starts to hurt but I don't have the heart to leave her at home all the time when she knows what the harness means. She's too hard to just t,e for a walk on a leash, she's so powerful she pulls me down and drags me. I'm too old for that.
Same thing with Sparticus. All that I said bout Ashliegh except I don't dbl lead him with Burner. Although he is a good leader I run him with Ashliegh.

Well. Happy New Year everyone. I hope and pray you all have good health and happiness. On NewYears Eve we celebrated my baby girl's 7th B-day.
One my longest standing(we've been friends since I was 5or 6) friend's wife just gave birth to a baby boy New Year's Eve too. So my daughter and his son Both on New Year's Eve but 7 years apart. He (my friend) is a year older than me. So he and I will both be getting our Senior Citizen's monthly cheque the same time we each receive a monthly Child Tax Credit cheque.
Awesome but silly old men. :old getting all crippled up from our hyper active lifestyles and still tryna be Daddy to little babies..... Old fools eh.
But I tell you, from my point of view, there ain't no better way to celebrate the New Year than being apart of my baby's B-day party.
RezChamp out for now

Wow. Some dogs retire early eh. Not mine man. They work till they're old.
Okimaw still pulled lead at 14-15, the winter before the winter he had a stroke.
Regal is 10 and he still is my rock in team, Max is 7 and he's only learning to be a working husky, Pipoon is 8 and working team, Burner is a litter mate to Pipon and going strong in lead.
Mind you, these are not racing dogs. They're working dogs. A tad more resilient, just me and my dad, LOL.

I think they retire early cause they arer as fast as younger dogs anymore. They can still work and pull, just not as quickly as younger dogs in their "prime".
