I know of an old old man from China that was talking to an old friend of mine.My friend was romantically interested in the old man's grandotr whom the old man had raised. My friend had been asked by this old man "What clan and tribe do you belong to?" My friend was kind of embarrassed to telling the od man of his varied background from Scottsih to Anishinahbay to Ukrainian & a few more. The old man smiled & said "umhmmm...Many bloods. Wise."In my opinion, Alaskan Huskies are glorified mutts with a purpose. Haha! At least mine are. I mean, my definition of mutt is different, though. To me, mutt just means the dog has more than 2 breeds in it. 1 breed: purebred. 2 breeds: crossbred. 3+ breeds: mutt. Now, mutts aren't bad or worth any less; some of the best dogs we've ever owned were mutts. Lol.
Very pretty mushing territory.Though I think I'd miss my mountains if I was there.![]()

To coin the phrase, I would suppose I am a whopper of a mutt also.
On my Pampa's farm we had a menagerie of breeds that inter-bred with each other. They were all very good dogs to have around the farm. I am a firm believer in genetic diversity.
I agree that many K9 mutts are very good. I just disagree with K9 mutts(actually any breed) running loose in the vicinity of a kennel of carefully chosen Northern Spitz sled dog breeds.
I would
