One of my Americaunas is not like the others. The others are gold in color with very pale comb. The bird in question, although very pretty, is a deeper color and the comb seems a bit more red. I can't have roosters where I'm at so any help is appreciated.

I'd say pullet, her comb looks normal for a hen her age and I would think it would be getting some spurs in if it was a roo too, but I dont know. I can relate on the no roosters though, wished I lived out in the sticks sometimes;) Beautiful bird!

That is good news. She is very beautiful and we were hoping to keep her. I was also thinking she was a little more EE than Americauna- just a tad darker compared to the two in the last picture.

We ordered 5 as true Americaunas, but a little research shows we have classic EEs?

And the chicks just hit 8 weeks of age.
