Arie is an Easter Egger, not an Araucana. This is an Araucana belonging to Jody Hinkle, a breeder of true Araucanas on BYC (hinkjc), a pic from her website. Hopefully, she won't mind me showing you with her photograph.

Note the tufts in place of beard and muffs. Araucanas look nothing like Ameraucanas or Easter Eggers:

Ok, EE is good too. I just really liked the idea of having an Araucana. It's a shame there is no way to be sure of what you're buying at the Farm stores.

To get a true Ameraucana or Araucana you have to find a breeder, no Hatchery sells them.
