Hi! I recently received this beautiful cockerel (I think) names Hootie. He is supposed to be an americauna but I can’t find his coloring anywhere when I look at Americauna Roos. Could he be something else? He is about 13 weeks old.

Did the person you get him from, get him from a hatchery or feed store, or were they an Ameraucana breeder who breeds to the SOP? Probably an EE if they were not the second option.

Americana is just a fancy name for Easter Egger. They call them that to pretend they are the real breed, Ameraucana.
