Shipping eggs is easy. Here is one good link.
Main thing is to keep the air bubble end up and to package with a lot of cushioning. Then LABEL the package THIS SIDE UP.
Amazes me how often this is ignored but you can at least try. More shock absorbent material should have been put on the bottom - lots of stuff to use. Generally the hatch rate is questionable, but 50 percent is something to shoot for. Distance traveled makes a difference esp. if it is re handled often.
Much easier than shipping the Rooster.
Here is a better shot at my two. One EE and one OE.
Just lost a bird to stupidity. For some reason they got into my greenhouse/work area and one of my Sussex drowned in the half empty 50 gallon water barrel I kept in there. How she managed to get to the top I have no clue but it was awful finding her floating in there.
Outside I have a similar rain barrel but I cover it and or have floating one gallon milk jugs to keep the birds from entering the water.
Sometimes the home environment can be as deadly as a predator. These three (now two) Speckled Sussex were my friendliest and most trusting, innocent of birds. :-(
Where did the white gene come from? Looks like you got 2 grey blue ones and the rest are more normal Ameracauna colors. Size of parents? Was a Faverolle influence seen in the Ameriflower??? - she seemed to be a smaller bird than the Faverolle. Was it something else?
Looks like they will be a size I like. LOVE your rooster.
