Amers d’Anvers

I didnt know they are called D'Anvers! I just got one about 2 months ago, here in the netherlands they are called Antwerpse baardkriel (antwerpian bearded bantam).Very hard to find ,there was a high chance he was going to be a rooster when i picked him as chick but i wanted specifically him because he kept flirting with me hahah..I defenitely dont regret my choice,hes the sweetest thing ever!As soon as i walk out of the door he follows me with his 2 serama girlies,hes super curious,talkative and loves falling asleep in my arms with cuddles..Just looking at his fluffy face makes my day!Im already addicted to the breed after just 1 of them i hope i can find more of them in the future..

Excuse how bad it is. Specimen 2 on the far right, Specimen 1 in the far corner, Specimen 3 on the far right. My predictions on sex appear to be right. Specimen 3 takes after his father in all except beard and leg color. His barring is very nice.

Got best bantam and reserve chicken @ my fair with Queeny.
One of the LF Buckeye eggs that I gave to the county 4-H hatch one year became a hen and beat me. smh
