Amers d’Anvers

Pics
Go Queeny! Im currently worried about cheekshe has issues walking and i took him to the vet to make sure its not mareks (i already suspected its because of his O shaped legs but better safe than sorry) and yeah..His weird leg shape couldnt handle the weight he gained by growing(i got him as a 1 month old) so he started to lay around more and more, leading to his muscles becoming weak. So now iam doing chicken fysio with him 5x per day as prescibed by the vet! Does anyone know if the leg issue is common in danvers or he just got unlucky?
And iam trying to think of ways to help him walk again if his muscles should not get strong enough in the end..

@Amer from our state fair show.
They only had quail and one self blue that disappeared before I took pics.

My birds have never had leg problems so I think he might have some kind of disease. :/
One common issue in my quails appears to be crossed or deformed beaks though. Probably because mine have a very long, rapidly growing upper mandible, which comes from Hotshot.
Thank you for your submission, these are spectacular!

I’m going to try breeding my d’Anvers again this year since I had sucky luck this spring. I have the pens set up.

@Amer So I saw an ad for exhibition quality single comb light brown Leghorns in my area. Said stock came from one of the top exhibition Leghorn breeders in the states.
I text and they immediately replied with a pic of "the father". Not the best pic to tell conformation. It was a guy holding the bird.
I asked what he had for sell. Said only a couple 10 week old pullets and 5 or 6 matching cockerels. Never sent pics of them or any other pics.
I asked if he showed. No blah blah blah these come from top breeder blah blah blah.
I asked who. He replied the parent stock are out of such and such Kansas. I said ya but who was the top leghorn breeders name. Said I was curious if it was a name I'd heard of.
He asked if I showed. I said not lately but I still go to a show or two a year. No replies back. Ghosted.
I was trying.
