I don't feel bad about my hord now. Lol.

I do wish I had a barn or just covered area that I could enclos and have pens in. I like all you mobile pens. If my yard didn't hold so much water I would go with them for a few.

Two new pens that will be joined for grow out will be done this weekend. Then I'm working on two 16ft hoopcoops and I have a 8x8 started in the small yard for brooding and grow outs. I hope to add two more like it to the small yard for the same purpose. One might end up bigger tho to accommodate the 10ft long out door brooder I made. I can't wait for the building to be done so I can just enjoy the chickens going in the things I've built.

My previous yard would turn into a lake and that didn’t stop me

I'm making decks for my coops this weekend because four of them are in an area that holds water if it rains hard or for more than two days.

I’ve decided to call her Moon.
She doesn’t look much like a moon but when a name comes to me, I have to use it. I think using her father in breeding was a good call. His neck and beard are getting thicker with age and his back is wide and nice and short.
The pullets I am getting this year seem consistently good even though one of the breeders I used isn’t good.
A bird has to be special for a name. Her dad and probably her mom (unless her mother is Queeny) are both named so it’s interesting that this pullet already has one.

She has like no tail but she carries her breast forward and her wings nice and low.
